Ingredients of Induppukanam
- Induppu kanam/Saindhava lavana (Rock salt) – 1 part
- Ayamodamirandu Kanam/Ajamoda (Trachyspermum ammi) – 2 parts
- Nalevatpippali /Pippali (Piper longum) – 4 parts
- Haritaki yarukanam (Terminalia chebula) – 6 parts
Method of Preparation:
All the ingredients are taken in a specified quantity and made powder. Then all the ingredients are mixed together for use.
Indications of Induppukanam
- Agnimandya – Decreased digestive fire
Mode of use :
Induppukanam is used internally with suitable adjuvents like Hot water or Sour buttermilk
Dosage :
Induppukanam is administered 1 kana.shana ie 3.25gms or as directed by the physician.
