Ingredients of Antragudaram Gulika (Cheriya)

  1. Hingu (Ferula assafoetida) – 1 part
  2. Hingula (Cinnabar) – 1 part
  3. Sindhutha (Rock salt) – 1 part
  4. Vacha (Acorus calamus) – 1 part
  5. Drik (Caesalpinia bonduc) – 1 part
  6. Lasuna (Allium sativum) – 1 part
  7. Siva (Terminalia chebula) – 1 part
  8. Tankana (Borax) – 1 part
  9. Yavakshara (Carbonate of potash)  – 1 part
  10. Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) – Q.S
  11. Amalaki (Phyllanthus emblica) – Q.S
  12. Vibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica) – Q.S

Preparation of Antrakutharam Gulika (Valiya)

All the ingredients are taken in the specified quantity and crushed to made powder. Then all the powders are mixed together and juice of triphala is added and triturated till they attain a semisolid state. Then the pills are rolled out and dried under shade and stored for use.

Indication of Antragudaram Gulika (Cheriya)

  1. AntraShoola (Pain intestines)
  2. Vrukka Shoola (RenalColic)
  3. Basti shoola (Uterine Colic)

Mode of use, Dosage, and Adjuvant

Antrakutharam Gulika is generally advised gunja pramana /1 – 2 pills (125-250mg) once or twice daily or as directed by the physician.
