Gorochanadi Gulika – Ingredients, Uses, and Dosage

Gorochanadi Gulika is an ayurvedic medicinal preparation in the form of a tablet/pill. It is used in treating fever, vertigo, fatigue, respiratory distress, hiccup, convulsions, and sannipathika conditions of acute and chronic diseases. Gorochanadi Gulika is for internal use and may be swallowed as per the dose prescribed as directed by the Physician.

Preparation of Gorochanadi Gulika

All the ingredients are taken together in the specified quantity and made pills using the vati preparation method. The prepared pills are dried in shade and stored in an airtight glass container for use.

  2. Swasanaka Jwara (variety of fever)
  3. Kasa (Cough)
  4. Shwasa (Breathing difficulty)
  5. Kanta roga (diseases of the throat)
  6. Sannipataja Jwara (variety of fever)
  7. Smritinasha (memory loss)
  8. Shravana Lopa (hearing difficulties)
  9. Drishti Lopa (Eye diseases)
  10. Samjnanasha (loss of consciousness)
  11. Jihwa sthamba (stiffness of toungue)
  12. Bhutagraha peeda ( diseases caused by bhuta and graha’s)

Mode of use, Dosage, and Adjuvants

Classical dosage is Masha Matra (1 gms)

In general, it is advised 1-2 pills once or twice daily with suitable adjuvants (breast milk, jeeraka kashaya) or as directed by the physician.

Pediatric dosage 125mg (1/2 to 1 tablet)
