Ajamodadi Choorna

Ajamodadi Choorna is also known as Ajmodadi Churna. It can also be made in to Vati by adding Jaggery.

Ingredients of Ajamodadi Choorna :

  1. Ajamoda (Trachyspermum ammi)
  2. Vidanga (Embelia ribes)
  3. Saindhava lavana (Rock Salt)
  4. Devadaru (Cedrus deodara)
  5. Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica)
  6. Pippalimoola (root of Piper longum)
  7. Shatapushpa (Anethum sowa)
  8. Pippali (Piper longum)
  9. Maricha (Piper nigrum)

All has to be taken 1 karsha each.

  1. Pathya/Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) – 5 karsha
  2. Vruddadaru (Argyreia speciosa) – 10 karsha
  3. Nagara (Zingiber officinale) – 10 karsha

  12. Kapha-Vata hara

Anupana :

  1. Ushna Jala

Mode of Use :

  1. Choorna
  2. Vati (Ajamodadi Choorna can be made into vati by adding equal quantity of jaggary)

Classical Dose :

  1. One Karsha (12gms)
