
Kumaryasava or Kumaryasavam is an ayurvedic alcoholic preparation. It is used to treat many diseases. The main ingredient is Kumari or aloe vera. It also contains loha bhasma and Swarna makshika bhasma. It is very useful in controlling the bleeding disorders in women.

Procedure
All the ingredients are mixed together and transfered to a ghee smeared vessel. This has to be kept for one month. After the fermmataion it has to be taken out and fileded for use.

Dosage of Kumaryasava :
According to the texts, Kumaryasava has advised 1/2 or 1 or 2 palas according to age and strength of the patient.
In general 15 to 30 ml is used or as directed by the physician.
