Ingredients of Durvadi Thailam

Drava Dravya (Liquid Material)

1. Durva Swarasa (Fresh juice of Cynodon dactylon)  – 16 parts

Kalka Dravya (Material for making the paste)

1. Durva Kalka (Paste of Cynodon dactylon) – 1 part

Sneha Dravya (Oil Material)

1. Thila Taila (oil of Sesamum indicum) – 4 part

Preparation of Durvadi Thailam

All the ingredients are taken in the specified quantity and mixed together. Then this mixture is heated in a mild flame till all the watery portion get evaporated. Once the oil attains proper quality then it has to be filtered and used.

Mode of Use:

Durvadi Thailam is used as an external application
