Ingredients of Dhurdhurapatradi Kera Thailam
Drava Dravya (Liquid material)
- Dhatura Patra swarasa (fresh juice of Datura metel) – 1 prastha (768 ml)
Kalka dravya (Material for making the paste)
- Dhattura Bija (seeds of Datura metel) – 4 tola (192 gms)
Sneha Dravya (Oil Substance)
- Kera Thaila (Oil of Cocos Nucifera) – 16 tola (768 ml)
Preparation of Dhurdhurapatradi Thailam
All the ingredients are taken together in specified quantity. Then all the ingredients are mixed together and heated until the oil is properly formed. When the oil attains its paka properly then filtered and used.
