- Sharkara/Sugar candy (Saccharum officinarum) – 108 karsha (5.184 kg)
- Madhu (Honey) – 32 karsha (1536 ml)

Prepaeration of Cheriya Madhusnuhi Rasayanam
First sugarcandy is made powder and heated. When it gets melted the other powder ingredients are added in specifed quantity along with ghee. This has to be strirred well and when it attains a semisolid state it should be allowed to cool down. Once it become cool honey is added and strried again. Once it mixed well it can be stored for use.

- Deepana (increases digestive fire)
- Ruchya (improves taste)
- Vata Pitta and kapha roga (helps in treating the diseases of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha)
- Kshayagna (cures depletive diseases)
- Prameha (diabetes)
- Gulma (abdominal tumors)
- Shoolaghna (relieves pain)
- Kantha roga (diseases of the throat)
- Dhatu vardhaka (nourishes all the tissues)
- Bala prada (increases strength)
- Sukha prada (brings happiness/health)
Dosage :
Cheriya Madhusnuhi Rasayanam is advised to consume in the morning. The general dosage is 5 to 20 gms once or twice daily or as advised by the physician.
