Nalpamaradi Kuzhambu

Nalpamaradi Kuzhambu is prepared using the ingredients of Nalpamaradi Thaila with additional Eranda thaila and Ghruta as sneha dravyas.

Ingredients:

Kalka dravya

  1. Nalpamara (4 ksheeri vruksha)
    1. Vata twak (Ficus benghalensis)
    2. Ashwattha twak (Ficus religiosa)
    3. Plaksha twak (Ficus lacor)
    4. Udumbara twak (Ficus racemosa)
  2. Triphala
    1. Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)
    2. Vibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica)
    3. Amalaki (Emblica officinalis)
  3. Chandana (Santalum album)
  4. Sevya/Ushira (Vetiveria zizanioides)
  5. Kushta (Saussurea lappa)
  6. Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia)
  7. Chora/Kachora (Curcuma zedoaria)
  8. Akil/Agaru (Aganosma dichotoma)

Drava dravya:

  1. Haridra swarasa (Curcuma longa)
  2. Parpata rasa (Fumaria indica)

Sneha dravya

  1. Tila (Sesamum indicum) taila
  2. Erand (Ricinus communis) Thaila
  3. Ghruta

Indication:
