Nonganadi Thailam or Nonganadi Enna or Nonganadi Oil is an ayurvedic medicinal preparation in the form of oil. It is used in treating filariasis.

Ingredients of Nonganadi Thailam

Sneha Dravya (oil material)

1. Thila Thaila (Sesamum indicum)- 1/2 part

Drva Dravya (liquid material)

1. Nongana Rasa ( juice of Oldenlandia herbacea) – 1 part

Kalka Dravya (materials for making the paste)

1. Patha (Cyclea peltata) – 1/8 part
2. Karkataka (Pistacia integerrima) – 1/8 part

Preparation of Nonganadi Thailam

All the ingredients are taken in the specified quantity and oil is prepared by using thaila paka vidhi.
