Nonganadi Eranda Tailam – Ingredients, Uses and Dosage

Nonganadi Eranda Tailam is an ayurvedic medicinal preparation in the form of oil. It is used in treating filariasis, lymphadenopathy and chronic lymphedema. It is laxative in nature when administered internally. It is used both as internal consumption and external application.

Ingredients of Nonganadi Eranda Tailam

  1. Erandataila (Ricinus communis)
  2. Nonganam pullu (Oldenlandia herbacea)
  3. Patrollekhataru (Streblus asper)

Preparation of Nonganadi Thailam

All the ingredients are taken in the specified quantity and oil is prepared by using thaila paka vidhi.

Indications of Nonganadi Eranda Tailam

  1. Shlipada (filariasis)

Mode of use and Dosage:

It is used as an external application and internal administration.

Internally 5 to 25 ml. to be taken in the morning or at bedtime with a suitable adjuvant like a decoction or other medicine.
