Durvadi Kera Thailam or Durvadi Keram is an Ayurvedic medicinal Oil preparation. It is used in treating Psoriasis, dandruff, and other exfoliative skin diseases. The ingredients are little different from Durvadi Thailam 

Ingredients of Durvadi Kera Thailam

Drava Dravya (Liquid Material)

1. Kerakshira (Milk of Cocos nucifera) – 10 ml

Kalka Dravya (Ingredients for making the paste)

1. Durva (Cynodon dactylon) – 20 gms
2. Nimba (Azadirachta indica) – 20 gms
3. Yasthi (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – 0.625 gms

Thaila (Oil substance)

1. Keara Thaila (Oil of Cocos nucifera) – 10ml

Preparation of Durvadi Kera Thailam

All the ingredients are taken in the specified quantity and mixed together. This mixture is heated till all the watery contents get evaporated. Once the oil attains proper quality then it is filtered and used.

Indications of Durvadi Kera Thailam

1. Darunaka (Dandruff)
2. Vruna (Ulcers)
3. Kushta (Skin disease)
4. Kandu (Itching)
5. Shiro pidaka (small boils in the scalp)
