Ingredients of Bhringaraja Thaila
Drava dravya (Liquid materials)
- Anoopa deshaja Bhringaraja (Eclipta alba grown in marshy area) – 3 litres
Kalka dravya (materials used for making paste)
- Manjista ( Rubia cordofolia)
- Padmaka (Prunus cerasoides)
- Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa)
- Raktachandana (Pterocarpus santalinus)
- Gairika (Red ochre)
- Bala moola (Sida cordifolia)
- Haridra (Curcuma longa)
- Daruharidra (Berberis aristata)
- Nagakesara (Mesua ferrea)
- Priyangu (Callicarpa macrophylla)
- Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
- Prapoundarika (Nelumbo Nucifera)
- Gopi/Sariva (Hemidesmus Indicus)
Each herb should be taken 50 gms each
Taila dravya (Oil base)
- Tila tailam (Sesame Oil) – 750ml
