Bhringamalalakadi Keram or Bhringamalaka Kera Thaila is used to treat hair fall, graying of hairs, diseases of the eye, hearing problems etc….This preparation is from the sahasrayoga.

Ingredients of Bhringamalalakadi Keram

Drava dravya (liquid materials used)

1. Bhringaraja (Eclipta alba) – 768 ml
2. Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) – 768 ml
3. Ksheera (Milk) – 3.72 liters

Kalka dravya (drugs used for paste)

1. Yasthimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – 50 gms

Taila (Oil base)

1. Keara Thaila (Coconut oil) – 768 ml

Indications of Bhringamalalakadi Keram

1. Swarya – improves the voice
2. Andhatvam – helps in improving vision
3. Badhiratvam – helps in deafness
4. In old age, it nourishes the person within one month
5. Chaladantam – strengthens the tooths
6. Palithya – Hair fall
7. Khalithya – Premature graying of hairs
