Balashwagandhadi Kuzhambu is prepared from the same ingredients of Balashwagandhadi Thaila. Here along with the thaila thaila, ghee and castor oil is added. This is used only as an external application. Most of the benefits are same as the Thaila.

- Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia)
- Murva (Cynodon dactylon)
- Madhuka/Yasthimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
- Chora/Kachora (Angelica glauca)
- Sariba (Hemidesmus indicus)
- Ushira (Vetiveria zizanioides)
- Jalada/Mushta (Cyperus rotundus)
- Kushta (Saussurea lappa)
- Aguru (Aqualloria agallocha)
- Suradruma/Devadaru (Cedrus deodara)
- Haridra (Curcurma longa)
- Kumuda kanda (stem of Nymphaea stellata)
- Kounthi/Renuka/Harenu (Vitex agnus-castus)
- Satahwa (Anethum sowa)
- Padmakesara (Nelumbium speciosum)

- Ghruta (Ghee)
- Eranda Thaila (Castor Oil)
All taken 1 prastha
Drava Dravya (liquid materials)
- Bala (Sida cordifolia)
- Aswagandha (Withania somnifera)
- Laksha (Laccifer lacca)
All the above drugs are taken 1 prashta for preparing decoction
- Dadhi mastu (watery portion of curd) – 4 prastha
