Ingredients of Vijaya bhairava Thailam
- Suta/Parada (Mercury)
- Gandhaka (Sulfur)
- Nabhi/Vatsanabhi (Aconitum ferox)
- Chayilum/Hingula (Cinnabar)
- Pathya/Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)
- Katu/Sarshapa (Brassica juncea)
- Trayushna/Trikatu
1. Pippali (piper nigrum)
2. Shunthi (Zingiber officinale)
3. Maricha (Piper longum) - Bhunaga (Earthworm)
- Lohitanda
- Shringa gana
1. Vrishabha Shringa (horns of the bull)
2.Mriga Shringa (horn of deer)
3.Aja Shringa (horn of goat)
4.Mesha Shringa (horn of sheep)
5. Hasti Danta (elephant tusk)
Preperation of Vijaya bhairava Thailam
All the above-said drugs are taken and made into a paste. The paste of the drugs should be applied over a piece of cloth and then tie it to a stick of devadaru.
Afterward lit fire to the cloth and the Nimba thaila is poured over it gradually and the drops of Nimba thaila are collected coming out of the stick.
The oil collected should be mixed with Kukkutanda thaila and stored for use.
